WILL it work when the rim is scratched or broken as on the picture?
The GRAVIBAL wheel balancers will work also if the rims are scratched or slightly broken and also if they are not perfect round anymore. The effects from these problems are removed during the measurements. See more in the Tips & Donts page on how to minimize such problems.

BUT, it is not mounted in the center, how can it work ?
The GRAVIBAL wheel balancer uses advanced physic and mathematic models to calculate the geometrical center and the center of gravity by measurements at the rim edge of the wheel only, hence the name GRAVIBAL.

CAN my rim and tire type be balanced?
All rim and tire types can be balanced (see below picture), tire with rim protection edges as well. You can even balance with the hub cover or a wheel cover included.
In special cases you can ask the GRAVIBAL team for a confirmation and even a custom delivery that fits your rim type.
