The invention of the GRAVIBAL wheel balancer started 8 years ago, when the need for balancing 4 cars with both summer and winter tires became too expensive and time consuming, as the service centers had no available times to support.
Trying to use a manual bubble wheel balancer was inaccruate and too difficult. Using a vertical balancer was not possible and inaccruate. Buying a new or old heavy spin balancer was not an option as the machine and installation was taking up much space.
This problem finding a suitable product to balance the wheels were motivating the design of the patented new method.
After several years of various ideas and trials on solving the balancing problem, the method used in the GRAVIBAL wheel balancers was developed.

How is this new balancing method possible?
The new method is possible because it is based on physics and mathematical complex modelling, which does not require the center of the balancing object to be known. The method uses complex Physical models, Quadratic equation and Statistics to calculate the weight distribution. The method is based on skillful engineering.
How long time can the carry wheels be used?
In general the carry wheels and the float wheel can be used for 1000+ times. The wear of the wheels depends on the rim edge conditions. If the rim edges are rusty steel edges this will impact the wear. Also aluminum edges with scratches may impact the wear.
Can the GRAVIBAL be used on rims with damages?
Yes, the GRAVIBAL can be used on most rims even with damaged edges as long the damages does not prohibit the wheel from being turned. It is advised to smooth the rim edges damages with sandpaper before using the GRAVIBAL wheel balancers to obtain the best results.
Can the GRAVIBAL balance all types of wheels?
The GRAVIBAL CAR can balance all types of rims, both aluminum and steel rims. Also various types of rims has different types of edges, these can be accommodated for 90-95% of the rims. In special cases GRAVIBAL can offer a custom design of the carry and float wheels to fit the rims in need.
